Codemasters temporarily stops the development of rally games and support EA SPORTS WRC ends

a statement Published on the official website of the Codemasters Studio EA owns a clear slowdown in the development of rally racing games that the company is working on, the last of which was EA SPORTS WRC.

The company recently stated that it reached the end of the road in its work on the aforementioned chain games with the EA SPORTS WRC game, indicating that its period of dealing with the official license of the series from EA has ended.

The support was officially suspended after the launch of the last series EA SPORTS WRC game, which was released in 2023, knowing that the game received several free updates, which included a new season in 2024 in addition to the last “hard change” package, and it has been confirmed that this package will be the last expansion of the game.

So it is interesting that the Codemaster Studio will temporarily stop the development plans to develop future rally games, which means that we may not see a new part or a new licensed rally game from the studio for a long time, and perhaps we will not see it again.

It is worth noting that, despite this, the EA SPORTS WRC game will not disappear from the market, as it will remain available to the current and new players even if the EA license ended with the studio, and the statement stated that working on the WRC series license was the peak of the Codemaster trip in the field of off -road racing, which spanned decades through games like Colin Mcrae Rally Dirt, and the studio concluded its publication with a deep thanks to society and the players who supported their games throughout that period.

This post comes after the spread of news about wide and large hairstyles in EA and its affiliated studios, although it has not been explicitly confirmed whether this includes employees of the Codemaster Studio.
